"Strengthness" is a powerful embodiment of resilience and determination, depicted through its bold layers and commanding contrasts. The painting begins with a foundation of rust orange, symbolizing grounded energy and inner vitality. Blue-green hues dominate the midsection, representing the calm yet unyielding force of perseverance, much like the ocean's depth and steadiness. The light grey layer adds a touch of introspection, evoking clarity and wisdom amidst the struggles of life.

The layering approach creates a visual depth that invites viewers to explore their own strength and vulnerabilities. Glazing with metallic tones adds a luminous quality, while dripping textures suggest movement and the unstoppable flow of time and endurance. This piece captures the essence of what it means to remain steadfast in the face of adversity. It challenges the viewer to reflect on their own reservoirs of strength and emerge feeling inspired and empowered.

All my artworks are deeply inspired by the natural beauty of Serra da Estrela, the highest mountain range in Portugal. This is where I chose to live after spending 30 years in Lisbon and building a career as a leader in the tech industry, a field traditionally dominated by men. During that time, I founded and grew companies from the ground up, leaving a legacy of empowering women in the corporate and executive world.

The breathtaking and unique landscapes of Serra da Estrela directly influence the organic forms in my work. I use techniques like soak-stain and dripping, embracing unpredictability, authenticity, and spontaneity. This creative approach mirrors what I believe is fundamental to empowering leadership: being genuine and bringing out the best in others. These two worlds – art and leadership – may seem distinct, but they are deeply interconnected in my vision.

Nature, much like Serra da Estrela itself, is authentic, spontaneous, free, strong, rooted, resilient, simple, serene, and courageous. These qualities also defined my journey as an executive. It’s common for leaders, upon reaching the pinnacle of their careers, to give back by sharing their knowledge through books, speeches, consultancy, or mentorship. I choose to do so through my art.

Each of my pieces offers a space for discovery, where the observer will encounter vibrant colors and unexpected combinations, often open to individual interpretation – much like female empowerment and the corporate world. My work invites an emotional connection; it encourages viewers to create their own narrative. Just as certain songs give us chills, art has the power to move us profoundly.

Colours represents empowerment, transformation, connection to nature and authenticity. The guide of all my works is color. I have always been captivated by the magic of colors, and I pour that passion into every brushstroke on my canvases. Through color, I express my emotions and my permanent state of mind: transformative, energetic, and authentic. With each piece I create, my goal is for these colors to deeply resonate with the viewer’s soul, guiding them to experience empowerment, connection and uplifting emotions."

About the Artwork
Dimensions: 134cm x120cm ( total)

Edges: All my artworks include an additional margin beyond the stated dimensions, ranging from approximately 5 cm on each side, to ensure proper stretching and mounting on the frame at the destination. Each of my pieces is designed to be mounted locally on a suitable frame according to the stated dimensions. The frame’s thickness should accommodate the extra canvas, as described.

The canvases are shipped rolled and must be re-stretched and mounted on a frame by your local framer.
Signature: Signed on the reverse and accompanied by a signed certificate of authenticity.

Shipping:
The artwork is carefully rolled and packed in sturdy protective tubes. Shipments are handled via DHL EXPRESS , ensuring the artwork’s safety, care, and efficient delivery. While I take every measure to monitor shipping and assist with any issues, delays caused during transit are beyond my control. In cases where additional costs arise due to the destination’s location or if the shipping cost exceeds the paid amount on this platform, I will inform the buyer to cover the difference. If the difference is not paid, the shipment cannot proceed.
