This artwork, measuring 112cm x 118cm, invites viewers to navigate its intricate geometry, much like traversing a labyrinth—symbolizing the challenges faced by women in leadership within a male-dominated world. It is deeply personal, reflecting the artist's own journey through this labyrinth, conveying an emotional spectrum of anger, perseverance, and ultimate success.

Created on a gold-draped cotton canvas, the piece was crafted directly on the floor using the soak-stain technique but with an unconventional twist: thick, textured paint forms dynamic, unpredictable geometric patterns ( almost perfect!).

The foundation features bold strokes of gold and silver, over which rich, thick layers of petroleum green and emerald green interplay with warm accents of fiery orange and red, predominantly on the right side of the composition. These colors blend and resist each other, creating natural squares and rectangles that mesmerize the eye.

The tactile quality of the paint, combined with the seemingly spontaneous order of the geometry, mirrors the complexity of navigating systemic barriers—much like veins flowing within the human body or pathways within a maze. As viewers encircle the piece, they are drawn into a journey of discovery, each angle offering a new perspective on the layered, multifaceted experience of overcoming obstacles.

Shipped in a tube for careful preservation, "The Labyrinth" is more than a visual piece; it is a powerful expression of the artist’s emotional resilience, transformation, and the unpredictable beauty of forging a path through adversity.
